…Sorry mom. No grand babies here. Let’s just clear that up right off the bat. 🙂

Even better news. I’ve finally taken the plunge and upgraded to a full frame camera! I know that doesn’t mean much to most of you, but for the past year I’ve been working on a Canon Rebel T3 crop sensor camera. I won’t get into the details of what the difference is, but let’s just say, my photo quality just went up 10000000x!

I’m proud of how far I’ve come with my Rebel, a camera that pro’s would consider more of a consumer quality camera than professional. We all have to start somewhere, and when I first started with the Rebel, I had no clue where this photography thing was going. I really just thought it’d be something fun to play around with and at the very least I’d have something nice to use one day when Calvin and I decide to start a family.

Well, I think it’s safe to say that ‘this photography thing’ has gone far beyond just having something to document my future children’s lives with. By learning to master lighting, natural reflectors, posing, etc. I feel like I’ve made the most of my little Rebel and am thrilled to see how much more I’ll be able to grow with my new Canon 6D!

I’ve already shot 2 sessions with it and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! I feel like a little kid after Christmas, I just can’t get enough of my new toy! Here’s a preview of one of the sessions I shot with it…this day couldn’t have been more perfect!
