I can’t believe my little cousin is MARRIED!! I feel like it was just yesterday that we were all picking on him whenever we thought he may have a girlfriend, and his response was always something about not having a girlfriend because they’re just too expensive. But thennn one day he invited me to grab some food with one of his “friends” (aka Karissa) and then at the end of the meal when we got our checks….he PAID for this “friend”! Yep, that’s when I knew it was all over. 🙂
Fast forward 6-ish years and I was asked to assist their main photographer in documenting the most important day of their lives! I’m so glad I was able to make it up to Ohio for this, it was a long 10-hour drive with my antsy little, motion-sick 5 year old nephew (it wasn’t pretty and I’m still finding remains in my car) but that’s beside the point. It was totally worth it! They both looked so happy and we had a great time celebrating with them and the rest of our family!

Karissa was sharing a cute little text she received the night before from her soon to be husband…I think you did good, Sonny!
They wanted to do the’ Bridesmaids’ pose….I think they succeeded! 🙂
I LOVED the church exit with the bubbles…it made for such fun pictures!
Sonny’s little brother, Jake, refused to dance the whole night…and finally after he was probably sick of me bugging him, he admitted that he would dance if it was a conga line. I don’t where he came up with that, but I let Karissa know, the DJ made it happen, and Jake actually got up and danced!
Making sure all the single guys came out to catch the garder! [Calvin ended up catching it! He claims it came straight to him, but I think he fought for it…just to guarantee that we’ll be the next wedding. :)]
And finally, Sonny dancing with Karissa’s grandmother. 🙂
