Ahh Ms. C! This was this babe’s second session with me and I’m SO glad she came back for another. When I tell you I love working with you babes, I truly mean it. I love seeing you babes morph right in front of my eyes, from shy and a little unsure, to posing with a newfound confidence that you bring with you out of the studio. That part might be obvious—that I do this to uplift women…but it’s more than that.
Hearing your stories, how you’ve overcome, how you make it through your everyday, what you’ve been through, what you do for fun….I take it all in. I take a little something from each of the babes that come in and bare their souls to us. When they say we all have a story to tell, it’s true. And I know that by sitting with 100+ women a year and always feeling inspired in some way after each session.
Ms. C is the exact example of that for me. For her first session, she came in during a season of healing that she so badly needed after loss. For her second session, she was celebrating herself and coming out on the otherside. In between her sessions, I was going through a period of loss and grief myself and couldn’t begin to express how much our conversations together meant to me.
All that to say, please know that your stories are important. And if you need a listening ear, my team and I are here to listen, laugh, talk a little shit, hype you up, and maybe share a tear with you.
