After hearing about Melissa’s plans for her and Eli’s wedding day, I couldn’t wait for their day to come! She said they would be renting a cottage where they would be spending the weekend with their closest friends, something they do with their friends every year, except this time they would be tying the knot! It was just as I had imagined, laid back and intimate. Melissa and a few of the girls got ready in the cottage as Melissa’s mom finished up the arrangements of wild flowers and put the finishing touches on the ceremony site. The ceremony took place overlooking the rolling hills of the farm right next to a beautiful weeping willow. It was so picturesque and peaceful!
Then just down the driveway at the farmhouse, their reception took place under the trees with a perfect view of the sun setting. Instead of the traditional toasts, everyone was invited to come say a few words. They all had so many memories from traveling abroad with Melissa and Eli!
After dinner, the wedding moved to the backyard of the farmhouse, where the cake cutting and dancing under the stars began. It was seriously perfect and so dreamy!
