They met while attending Washington College, so for their wedding they decided to return to that place where they made so many memories in Chestertown, MD at the Brittland Estates. When I arrived the bridesmaids and Lindsay were finishing up getting ready. Lindsay was such a calm, relaxed bride! As hair and makeup finished up, she and the bridesmaids headed down to the sunroom to eat lunch. Meanwhile, the groomsmen were down the driveway at the River Lodge hitting golf balls and shooting targets. It was such a perfect, relaxing way to start the day!

The rest of the day went on just perfectly. Lindsay had a beautiful first look with her family. As soon as they turned around to see her coming down the staircase, her brothers and father immediately began to tear up. It was so sweet! Plus, Lindsay and Mike’s wedding party were some of the most supportive, helpful wedding parties I’ve ever seen. Lindsay’s Maid of Honor was with her every step of the way, taking care of things and doing anything she could to make sure Lindsay and Mike’s day was perfect. Mike’s Best Man gave an amazing speech about how inspiring Mike’s love for Lindsay is…along with some inside jokes that had the wedding party laughing hysterically (friends from college always have the best material.)

It was all around a beautiful day that I’m so glad I could be a part of! Congratulations Lindsay and Mike!!
