I should probably do these Memory Mondays in some kind of logical order…but instead, I’m just going to go with what I’m feeling every week! 🙂 Last week’s post was from the 8th grade…today’s from my junior year of college…
This is one of my favorite pictures of my friends and I…or as we refer to ourselves occasionally as the circle of trust. (You’re never too old to make your own club..) Brandi and Tahitia have been friends since high school, then I came barging in when we met our freshman year at Longwood University. Aaaand they’ve been my best friends ever since! My sophomore year I moved to Ohio for school and Brandi transferred to VT our junior year…but we all still came back to Longwood for Spring Weekend every year. This picture is from one of those spring weekends, sitting on the steps at Longwood. From there, we could hear the music being played outside the student union as we sat and killed time until it was time to go get ready for the night out. Brandi…of course…is front and center as is the norm for our photos for some reason. For the grandma of the group, she’s quite the diva too. 🙂 I don’t know what I would do without these two, I look forward to capturing our awkward selfies for many many years to come! Just going through all of the photos of the three of us makes me want to put together a collage of them all! 🙂
And obviously, we have a song! What best friends don’t have a song? 🙂 At the end of our freshman year, I made a fun video from photos and clips I took of us throughout the year…I made most of it fun, because that’s exactly what our freshman year was! But being sentimental, I had to end it on a different note. I have no clue what made me choose this song, but now it will forever remind me of our freshman year together!
