This girl, Brandi, happens to be one of my best friends…and one of my Maids of Honor (yes, I have two. :)) People at work/outside of my normal group of friends probably think I only have one friend…Brandi. She has one of those personalities where usually when we’re together, there’s probably going to be a good story to come from it. Therefore, I talk about her a lot. [She’ll probably question me about everything I write on this, so I’ll keep it short! haha]
Brandi and Tahitia (another bridesmaid of mine that you’ll see at the end of this post) met me in Hampton to take some photos. We got there before Jerica [my go-to hair and makeup girl] so decided to go ahead and get started! Β There’s no way I’d get in front of a camera without my makeup on, but Brandi is so naturally pretty! Her skin is perfect…I’m not jealous or anything. π
SEE! …PERFECT.
And then Jerica came and Brandi got all dolled up! π Brandi knows what she likes and can be slightly particular about her makeup, so I was kind of nervous. But she ended up loving what Jerica did! I know I loved it! The makeup was perfect, without making her look too overdone!

And then I wanted to try out something a little different! I LOVE soft, pretty portraits. I’m hoping to do a whole session similar to this style with my new lens! Any takers? π
We kept shooting until the sun went down, and it was so worth the wait! Β The sunset was gorgeous, so of course, I have to grab a picture of it!
